INSIDE SALES SPECIALIST
Inside Sales Specialist
Location: Houston, Texas
Chateau Domingue, a Domingue & Co. company, is seeking a creative, intelligent, and highly motivated Inside Sales Associate who shares our passion for high end architecture and design to join our sales team in Houston.
Responsibilities
• Answer email and phone sales inquiries via email and phone for stone and wood flooring, architectural antiques and other Domingue products
• Assist walk-in clients at our Houston showroom location
• Maintain all sales demonstration tools and collateral
• Attend and support sales for trade-show events and customer visits
• Responsible for the sampling process and inventory of marketing items
• Oversee shipped samples and follow-up with clients
• Work with sales team to efficiently manage outbound lead process to generate new prospects for salespeople
• Interface with internal teams on order status and other team updates
• Support our special orders process
• Update and maintain systems data (CRM, inventory, etc.)
• Generate quotes, invoices and track customer payments
• Support sales teams with all client needs
• Maintain relationships with architects, builders, developers, designers, and other purchasing influences in the commercial market industry
Qualifications
• Must be 21 years or older
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with experience in customer service, architecture, interior design, marketing or inside sales.
• Stone and tile experience preferred; background in building materials architecture, or design a plus
• Interest or experience representing high end and luxury brands
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Customer Service-oriented attitude, demeanor and skills

Domingue & Co. has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned architectural finishes sales professional with a proven track record of working with renowned Architects, Designers, and General Contractors.
Position Overview:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that defined sales objectives are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills and ruthless prospecting skills. They will have the ability to walk a customer through a long selling cycle and to grind through inevitable selling challenges. They will have a fascination with growing our company and products, secure selling experience, and stellar instincts. At Domingue & Co., you will act as a sustainable Architectural Finishes sales consultant. He/she will provide technical and creative client consulting services to high-level professionals in architecture and interior design.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day contact with A&D firms within the territory, acting as the liaison between all customers and Domingue & Co. operations and management.
Manage projects simultaneously and talk customers through short and long selling cycles.
Prepare and conduct high-level national sales.
Maintain extensive product knowledge and training sessions with internal and external customers.
Self-educate to achieve subject matter expert role within different regions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, or similar in a related technical field.; OR a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in an architectural firm.
· 5+ years of outside sales experience (required), preferably in the architectural finishes, or building materials industry, or in commercial and residential construction materials sales.
· Ability and interest in effectively presenting to key decision-makers
· Demonstrated effectiveness and mastery of interpersonal and communication skills
· Proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while providing the highest service quality
